STOPAIDS is a membership network with a distinguished 35-year history of advocacy on international development and HIV.

The Advocacy Team undertook a thorough evaluation of the Global Fund’s most recent replenishment strategy to assess its overall effectiveness and identify key lessons. The review focused on the outcomes achieved, as well as areas where the civil society coalition—led by STOPAIDS—could have taken different or stronger approaches to influence decision-makers, build momentum, and maximize impact. The aim was not only to reflect on what worked, but also to understand missed opportunities and inform future advocacy efforts.
