Policy
Wellcome is a charitable foundation focused on health research based in London. In September 2021, The Advocacy Team supported Wellcome’s policy, government relations and external partnerships teams to better understand how to apply an equity, anti-racist and decolonial lens to Wellcome’s policy and external affairs work. This project encompassed in-depth research with Wellcome’s staff team and external partners and delivery of a three-part webinar series to support the team both to better understand how to apply an anti-racist or decolonial approach to this discipline. We were proud to deliver the webinar series in partnership with some of the best experts in the field, including Stephanie Kimou from Popworks Africa, Re-imagine Development and other leading voices who joined the webinar series.
